USAID TUJITEGEMEE Project Participates in ICASA Conference in Harare, Zimbabwe

AMURT Africa, through the USAID-funded TUJITEGEMEE Project, participated in the International Conference on AIDS and STIs in Africa (ICASA) held in Harare, Zimbabwe. The conference brought together policymakers, researchers, development partners, civil society organizations, and community practitioners from across the continent to advance dialogue and action on HIV, AIDS, tuberculosis, and sexually transmitted infections.

The participation of the TUJITEGEMEE Project at ICASA provided an important platform to engage with regional and global stakeholders, share programmatic experiences, and learn from emerging evidence and best practices in HIV prevention, treatment, and community health systems strengthening. The conference sessions highlighted innovations in community-led responses, integration of HIV services with broader health and social programs, and the importance of data-driven, rights-based approaches.

Through this engagement, AMURT Africa reinforced its commitment to collaborative learning, regional partnership, and continuous improvement of community-based interventions. Insights gained from ICASA will inform ongoing implementation of the USAID TUJITEGEMEE Project, particularly in strengthening resilience, improving access to quality services, and supporting sustainable outcomes for vulnerable populations.
